Cheesey Garlic Bacon Knots
March 16, 2018

Is your mouth watering? Because, yes - these bacon knots really do taste as good as they look.
I don’t know why, but I was fully expecting these to taste like bread. Sadly, they did not (I really do miss bread!), but I made them as a side dish to some bunless cheeseburgers and they paired amazingly well.
By tying the bacon in knots, the ends get nice and crispy, and the middle is softer with a nice bite. They are not chewy or rubbery because they are cooked in a very hot oven and finished off with the broiler. You can eat them plain, or you can dip them in some ranch dressing, guacamole, or buffalo chicken dip.

Ingredients:
1 package bacon
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
6 tsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450F.
Tie each slice of bacon in a double-knot.
Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic, and cheese over knots.
Bake at 450F for 18 minutes.
Finish under HIGH broiler for 5 minutes, or until desired crispness is achieved.
