Meatsa Pizza

There is no sugar-coating it...we do a lot of cooking while following a keto lifestyle. In fact, we cook all...the...time. 

I would be lying if I said I wasn’t tired of doing dishes and cleaning up the kitchen. But the payoff is worth every ounce of effort, so we just keep going. 

Sometimes you just need a quick and easy dish that tastes like a lot of effort but only takes minutes to prepare. Meatsa Pizza is that dish! 

The base is ground beef seasoned with Italian Seasoning and mixed with cheese, then topped with your favorite pizza toppings. You can make it as simple or as fancy as you choose, and it’s a delicious way to hit your macros.


2 lbs ground beef

1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning

2 Tbsp minced onion, dried

Salt, pepper to taste

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1 cup low-sugar pizza sauce

Favorite pizza toppings


  • Preheat oven to 375F.

On stovetop, cook ground beef and all seasonings in skillet over medium heat until thoroughly browned.

Drain grease and add beef to 2 qt casserole dish. Mix in 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and spread mixture evenly in bottom of dish.

Spread pizza sauce on top of beef.

Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and desired pizza toppings.

Bake at 375F for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
